New Patient Information

This process will help us see if we are a good fit. Here’s an overview of what we will accomplish.

i

Step 1

Please fill out the New Patient Forms and bring them with you to your first appointment. It is important that we know about your health history and concerns, health goals, etc. so we can determine the best course of care for you.

This first visit is scheduled for 15 minutes (more if needed) to see if our approach to chiropractic care is a good fit for you. We want to make sure all of your questions are answered and that you feel comfortable along the way.

Step 2

After reviewing your health concerns, we will examine your spine and nerve system for any areas of subluxation (spinal misalignment).

We may have you turn and bend to feel how your spinal joints move.  We may also check your posture, alignment, balance and leg lengths. A thermal scan of your spine will tell us where there is abnormal stress in your body that can be causing dysfunction and disease.

Step 3

Before anything is done, we will review the examination findings and explain any areas of concern.

If we feel comfortable moving forward, you may receive your first gentle and specific chiropractic adjustment at that time. Based on your current level of health, your spinal condition and health goals, the doctor will then recommend a specific frequency of adjustments.  Or if we feel you need to do something else first or if it is not a good fit, we will tell you that too.

Step 4

Our fees are a reflection of our philosophy and commitment to long-term health and wellness rather than short-term crisis care. Many of our patients pay for care a year at a time, or we also have convenient monthly payment options available. You can even use your flexible spending HSA or FSA to pay for your care.

Thank you!

And welcome to Corporate Chiropractic Works.

Your Incredible Nervous System

Similar to the wiring and circuit breakers in your house controlling the flow of electricity, your nerve system and spinal bones control and coordinate the function of every cell, tissue, and organ in your body. If your spinal bones are out of alignment, your body malfunctions.  Chiropractic adjustments correct subluxation (nerve interference) to allow for optimal function and quality of life!

Subluxation

Causes of Subluxations

Subluxations are caused by a lifetime of stress and traumas: accidents, falls, slips, sports injuries, bad posture, poor sleeping habits, emotional stress which can cause chronic tension. Subluxations can also occur as a result of the birth process and from childhood falls. Many neurological and other health problems can be traced to this spinal damage at birth.  It is for that reason that Chiropractors recommend spinal checkups for infants and children as well as adults.

Correcting Subluxations

Symptoms are your body’s warning signal that something has been malfunctioning for some time and needs attention.  In most cases, the SUBLUXATION has been present without any symptoms or warning.  Usually the SUBLUXATION has been present in your spine for many years by the time you feel any symptoms or develop any disease.

The purpose of a Chiropractic evaluation in our office is to find any SUBLUXATIONS in your spine that are interfering with your Central Nervous System causing malfunction, sickness and/or disease in your body.  Doctors of Chiropractic specialize in locating, analyzing and correcting subluxations in your spine.

Any SUBLUXATIONS we find during your exam, nerve tests, or on your posture studies are considered to be a concern.  Please know we are trained to help you in reducing the effect of these subluxations if you are fully committed.

What is an Adjustment?

A Chiropractic Adjustment is a gentle and specific procedure to restore proper motion/alignment of the spine, which allows for optimal health and function of your nervous system.  When you get adjusted, the power that made your body heals your body.  Your nervous system will communicate more clearly and appropriately, so that you should not only feel better, which is great! but more importantly, your body will function better and with less stress.

What is a Subluxation?

SUBLUXATION: A misaligned spinal bone (vertebrae) which causes irritation, compression, tension, and damage to the Central Nervous System.  (The Central Nervous System (CNS) consists of the Brain, Spinal Cord, and Spinal Nerves which control all the functions and healing in your body).  Subluxation interferes with the normal healthy communication of nerves, which leads to dysfunction, sickness, pain, or disease.  Subluxations are sometimes called the “silent killer” – because they can slowly eat away at your health and vitality for years without you even knowing it.
